Just as one might fight for their lives when they are in danger we should also fight to protect our marriage. We should always be actively engaged in the best interest for our spouse and ensure they are happy. As we put our spouse first we will find that they also have the desire to put us first. Selfishness is the enemy to a happy marriage.
